Seth Rollins has had an amazing career with WWE thus far. “The Architect” has gotten his hands on the RAW Tag Team Titles, WWE World Title, Intercontinental Title, and United States Title. He is also one-third of one of the greatest factions in professional wrestling history, with The Shield.
Recently, Rollins was a part of the ACE Comic-Con WWE panel in Chicago, Illinois. Rollins answered several questions from professional wrestling fans. One of those questions was what he has left that he’d like to accomplish with WWE. Rollins offered up that he has yet to be on the marquee for the main event of a WrestleMania. Perhaps he’ll get his opportunity this year for WrestleMania 35 in New York:
“The one thing that I haven’t done is been on the marquee in the main event at WrestleMania,” said Rollins. “So, I don’t know man. 2018 has been a really good year for me, so we’ll see what WrestleMania brings next year in New York.”
While Rollins hasn’t been on the marquee for a WrestleMania main event, he has won one. Rollins made WWE history by becoming the first Superstar in WWE history to cash-in his Money In The Bank briefcase at WrestleMania. He entered the WrestleMania 31 main event, cashing in his briefcase during Brock Lesnar vs. Roman Reigns for the WWE Title.
Rollins pinned Reigns to win the bout, leaving WrestleMania the new WWE Champion, and in commentator Michael Cole’s words, pulling off the “Heist Of The Century.”
