Gamer Recreates ‘Into The Spider-Verse’ Shot In ‘Marvel’s Spider-Man’

Spider-Man PS4 MarvelIn a recent post, a player of the latest superhero game, Marvel’s Spider-Man, shared an image that recreates an iconic shot of the upcoming animated film, Into the Spider-Verse.

The image in question was used with the games camera mechanic. Throughout the game, the player is able to take pictures of various monuments in order to earn tokens for power-ups and new suites. The camera can also be used to take pictures of the iconic web slinger himself and whatever else the player wishes to do. One player, however, wanted to recreate an image from the trailer of Into the Spider-Verse.

The shot in question is of Miles Morales falling toward the ground, upside down as the rest of the city is behind him in the background. Within the game the shot was fairly well recreated. You can see the full image below:

Directed by Bob Persichetti, Peter Ramsey, and Rodney Rothman with a screenplay by Phil Lord, the film features the voices of Shameik Moore, Hailee Steinfeld, Mahershala Ali, Jake Johnson, Liev Schreiber, Brian Tyree Henry, Luna Lauren Velez and Lily Tomlin.

Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse swings into theaters on December 14, 2018.
