Bayern Munich have today announced that FIFA World Cup winner Benjamin Pavard will join the club from Stuttgart on 1 July 2019.
The 22-year-old French defender, who can operate at centre-back or right-back, has agreed a five-year deal with the current German Bundesliga champions.
Bayern’s sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic confirmed the news from the club’s training camp in Qatar.
Pavard impressed as Didier Deschamps’ side claimed a second world title in Russia last year.
His stunner in France’s 4-3 comeback win over Argentina was chosen by fans around the world as the Hyundai Goal of the Tournament.
